Secret Stripes

These are pretty easy nails as long as you are using stripers.

Tools:

• Black polish
• At least 2 Striper polishes or a detail brush used for striping
• Top coat
• A detail brush is recommended 

Step 1:

Start by making various stripes with your striper brushes across all of your nails. I used five different stripers but it's entirely up to you. Make sure these are mostly dry before moving on to the next step.

Step 2:

For this step you will most likely need a detail brush but if you have a very steady hand you should be ok. Start by making four lines with the black on your nails. Then, fill in above the top line and below the bottom line. Add a top coat when they are mostly dry and you're good!

Dotting Away

A really quick yet cute design.

Tools:
Base coat
Dotting tool
As many colors as you want
Top coat

Step 1:
Start off with a base coat that will go nicely with the rest of your colors. I recommend white so all of the colors show up brightly. Make sure that it's almost completely dry before moving on to your next step.

Step 2:

Use your dotting tool (or multiple dotting tools of different size) to make a bunch of random dots or a pattern of dots on your nails. You can mix the colors or just do one color on each nail like I did. Wait for these to dry (so they don't smudge like my thumb did) and then add your top coat.

To Write Love on Her Arms

For all of my loyal followers (are you out there?) I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while. I will try to keep up with my nail art.

These nails go out to anyone who is going through a tough time no matter what it might be about. TWLOHA is an organization for people who are going through tough times. I really like this base coat. It was actually just about four dollars at Claire's. It's hard to see in the pictures but in the sparkles sparkle rainbow in the light. :)

Step 1:
You're average base coat.

Step 2:
I used a nail art pen  to write the words.
Thumb: To write
Pointer: Love
Middle: On her
Ring: Arms
And on my pinky heart.

Step 3:
Top coat.
