Tribal Nails

So these nails didn't turn out quite as well as I would have liked. I was working on my friends nails instead of mine though this time which makes it a bit harder since they are quite a bit smaller than mine. Anyway these are the ever popular tribal nails. So thanks to my bestie for being my guinea pig for these new nails and my new brushes.

Materials Used:
Extra nail brushes for more control
Stripers
I used four different colors but you can use as many as you want
OPI Rapi Dry
OPI Clear Top Coat
Purple nail polish pens

Time: This took me about an hour but it depends on the types of designs you use.

Tip: Nail polish pens are pretty much key to this design. I only had a purple nail polish pen but I used what I had.

Funny Quote:
Me: Painting my nails relaxes me.
Mom: It's probably all the fumes.

These are actually quite a difficult nail because of the fact that there is no exact pattern. You just kind of have to go with it and make it up as you go along.

Step 1:
As usual start with a base/top clear coat and then spray with some Rapi Dry to help dry faster.

Step 2:
There are really only two steps in this whole thing. The second step is just go for it! Whatever pops into your head. Zig-zag lines really make it seem tribal though. Polka dots are useful as well.

Step 3:
Put on a clear coat. And show off your trendy nails!
